Talk to me

Thirty minutes, free, with nothing to buy at the end of it. I do these because the same avoidable mistakes keep turning up, and half an hour usually catches them before they cost anybody anything.

What the call is

Thirty minutes on video or audio, whichever you prefer. You talk, I ask questions, and we work out what your actual next step is. That is the whole format.

Most of these turn out to be one of four conversations. You have a quote in front of you and want to know whether it is fair. You have read the guides and your situation does not fit them. You are set up and streaming, and the first few have not gone how you hoped. Or you are still deciding whether to do this at all, which is a perfectly good reason to book.

If none of those is you, book anyway and tell me what is.

What it isn't

It is not coaching, and there is no second session waiting at the end. I do not sell my time, so there is nothing for you to decline.

It is not a sales call. There is nothing on this site to buy, and that is not a technique.

It is not a channel review against a checklist. If you want someone to score your thumbnails, this is the wrong half hour.

And it is not a commitment to anything afterwards. Plenty of people book once, get the one answer they needed, and I never hear from them again. That is a good outcome.

What to bring

Nothing at all is fine. It goes faster if you have a few things to hand.

The quote, the brief or the model you are looking at, if money is the question. A link to your channel, if you have one. And the single thing you are most stuck on, because that is usually not the thing people open with.

If you would rather send any of that in advance, the contact form reaches me and I will read it before we talk.

About introductions

If you get as far as considering an agency or a management team, I know people on the Japanese side and can introduce you. Only if you ask for it.

Nobody pays me for those introductions and nobody has paid to be recommended anywhere on this site. If that ever changes it will be written here before it shows up anywhere else.

It is also not what the call is for. Most people who book never raise it, and that is the normal case rather than the exception.

Before you book

Have a look at the guides first if you have not already. The call is far more useful when it is not spent on things that are already written down, and quite often the guides answer the question and you do not need me at all.

Otherwise, pick a time that suits you. I read what you write in the booking form before we talk, so a sentence or two about where you are up to helps more than you would think.
